That’s a line from one of Joevanni’s favorite songs, “I Believe I Can Fly.” He sings it whenever he needs a lift during his treatments for aplastic anemia, which he’s been bravely fighting for almost three years.

May 7 marks a momentous day in JoyRx history. This was the day that, in 1995, Alexandra Ellis, at the age of just five and a half years old, died of cancer.
